Tilman Pharmacy: taken over, expanded and transformed, with a focus on an enhanced patient experience
Around two years ago, the former Haulot Pharmacy was taken over by Mr Mickael Tilman. Since then, the pharmacy has been renovated, expanded and renamed Tilman Pharmacy.
Thanks to these transformations, the total surface area increased from 100 m² to 210 m².
The patient area has almost doubled, now offering greater comfort and visibility, with multiple dedicated zones and enhanced product presentation.
A guided and fluid journey
The interior layout is based on influenced circulation, with a separate entrance and exit connected by a guided pathway using a gate system.
The objective: allow patients to explore the entire pharmacy before reaching the counters, in a smooth and natural movement.

Dedicated spaces to enrich the experience
Three dedicated zones now structure the patient area:
• Animation zone: for make-up and skin testing
• Consultation area: complemented by home care shelving (HCS), accessible from the private zone
• Nature zone: strategically positioned at the back of the pharmacy to reinforce its attractiveness

Light as an ally
The pharmacy benefits from abundant natural light, both from the street side and at the rear, thanks to two large windows opening onto the garden.
One of these openings was used to create an attractive nature zone, enhanced by a consistent treatment of floors, ceilings and walls in warm wood finishes that capture and reflect light. Visible from the entrance, this space draws attention from afar and invites discovery.

A back office optimised by technology
For greater efficiency and smooth service, a dispensing robot was installed. It is connected to a large basement, where a second robot and conveyor systems directly supply the back of the counters, the OTC area and the laboratory.
Combining technical expertise and creativity
To create an attractive patient area, technical constraints and creative solutions were carefully combined: demolition and reorganisation of the existing structure, implementation of a controlled pathway and enhancement of strategic zones.
The building presented a major constraint: a narrow central corridor. This was optimally redesigned to maintain both flow and walking comfort.
A project built on trust
We warmly thank Mr Mickael Tilman, head pharmacist, for his trust and close collaboration in the design and delivery of this pharmacy project.

Turning ideas intoexperience with the PLUO team
Creating a pharmacy project with us is first and foremost a meaningful human and collaborative adventure.
Every pharmacy is unique, every pharmacist has their own priorities and vision. Our role is to transform those ideas into a tangible experience: a welcoming and comfortable space where patients want to return, where the team enjoys working every day, and a profitable project that supports the long-term success of the pharmacy.
